Plastic Injection Molding

Tri-Mack specializes in the injection molding of high temperature engineering thermoplastics, such as PEEK (Victrex), PAI (Torlon), PEI (Ultem), Amodel (PPA), PPS (Ryton, Fortron), LCP (Xydar, Vectra), and PS (Radel, Udel).  With injection molding machines ranging in size from 28 to 600 tons, we can support your needs for custom molded plastic components both large and small.  Our largest press can mold a part up to 4.5 lbs. 

We have the flexibility to support your project with both precision mold to finish components or near-net blanks.  For higher quantity programs, we can mold in the geometry and tolerances that your project demands.  For smaller volume and more complex components, we mold near-net blanks that can be finish machined using our extensive CNC machining -milling, turning, Swiss screw. 

Our equipment has been outfitted to support the demands of high temperature injection molding.  We use desiccant driers and closely monitor moisture content in conjunction with the manufacturer's processing guidelines.

Tri-Mack offers insert molding and over-molding capabilities.  We have developed proprietary tool designs that enable us to mold in place inserts with great accuracy.  With our extensive machining capability, we can even design and manufacture custom inserts for your application.  We also offer bonding and assembly services to complete your assembly.

Tri-Mack has computer controlled ovens to support the needs of Torlon post curing as well as post-molding and post-machining annealing.
