Tri-Mack is the single source for all of your high performance plastic component needs. Our ISO9001-2000/AS9100 certified quality system insures that we meet your specifications. Tri-Mack manages using Six Sigma, Lean, and TQM principles to provide you with a reliable, cost-effective source for your most demanding components.
In supporting critical Aerospace/Defense, Chemical Processing, Medical and Industrial Equipment applications, Tri-Mack has developed a diverse portfolio of manufacturing capabilities.
Tri-Mack specializes in the injection molding of high temperature engineering thermoplastics, such as PEEK, Torlon, Ultem, Amodel, and PPS. With injection molding machines ranging in size from 28 to 600 tons, we can support your needs for custom molded plastic components both large and small. We also have insert molding and overmolding capabilities.
Tri-Mack offers precision machining capabilities, including CNC milling, CNC turning, and screw machining. We utilize tight tolerance machining to produce components from high performance engineering plastics such as Vespel, PEEK, Torlon, and Teflon (PTFE). Plastic machined parts can be made using stock shapes or injection molded blanks, enabling Tri-Mack to provide you with the most cost-effective manufacturing solution. Tri-Mack also machines metallic hardware for insert molding and bonded assemblies.
Tri-Mack designs and builds custom plastic injection mold tooling using state-of-the-art CAD/CAM and CNC equipment, including CNC sinker and wire electrical discharge machines (EDM). Our molds are built for high temperature engineering plastics using hardened steels and oil heat as required. This expertise is also used to build precision machining and inspection fixtures.
Tri-Mack completes the plastic part development process by offering assembly and testing capabilities. Tri-Mack is NADCAP certified for composite bonding and we assemble aerospace plastic parts in our Class 10,000 equivalent clean room. We also have ultrasonic welding and insertion capabilities. Tri-Mack can also provide functional testing for your precision plastic components, such as torque and pressure testing.
Compression Molding
Tri-Mack uses compression molding to manufacture blanks and components using virgin PTFE and filled PTFE compounds. Controlling this process enables us to supply custom materials and to meet stringent material specifications.
Packaging and Marking
Tri-Mack can package your parts or supply multiple components as a kit. Part marking includes pad printing, dot peen, and CNC engraving.
