Job Description

Position Summary:
 
The account manager is responsible for developing and managing the long term relationships with assigned customers. This position is responsible for the day to day demands of the customers as well as properly managing customer expectations. This position requires the ability to work across all areas of the company to ensure customer parts are delivered in a timely manner. Finally, the account manager will implement sales strategies to optimize each account’s role in meeting Tri-Mack’s corporate goals.
 
 
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
 
• Effectively manage assigned accounts, develop and implement sales strategies to help achieve Tri-Mack’s annual sales goals
• Provide superior customer service and support.
• Effectively communicate customer requirements and account information to all departments, ensuring that the needs of both Tri-Mack and the customer are satisfied.
• Develop and set up quotes in Visual Manufacturing. • Communicate pricing and terms to customers and negotiate the best outcome.
• Troubleshoot any issues relating to customer parts (internally with other departments and externally with outside services)
• Collect and process data, including reports and forecasts, to communicate actions and strategies.
• Act as leader/facilitator when calling internal and external meetings.
• Qualify new customer inquiries and take the appropriate action.
• Travel for on-site customer meetings and industry-related events as needed.
• Support customer service and other roles within the organization as needed..
• Participate in sales strategy and marketing development.
• Work closely with all departments to promote teamwork in developing strategies and achieving corporate goals.
 
 

Skills & Experience

Education, Skills & Experience:
 
• BS/BS in Business or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in technical sales, with customer service, quoting and direct sales experience required.
• Familiarity with plastics, manufacturing and the aerospace industry preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Some travel is required.
• Established computer skills in MS Office required and Visual Manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly, work with a minimum amount of supervision and get along with others.
